Praxity is the world’s largest alliance of independent accounting firms. I was contracted to write copy to strengthen the global brand, attract members and encourage more interaction. I created a more compelling company profile, engaging marketing material and insightful articles which generated a significant increae in online activity. I now write regular content for the Praxity website.

Client: Bourbon

Project: Corporate communications

Bourbon is a world leader in marine services for offshore oil and gas. I was commissioned by the Group’s Communications team in Marseille to proofread various printed publications and online content. I now edit a the Group’s most important internal and external publications. I ensure text is accurately translated from French to English. I also make text more punchy and engaging while ensuring brand conistency.

Hyde Yachts is an international yacht brokerage and part of ICAP plc, the world’s premier inter-dealer broker. I was appointed to write online content to position Hyde Yachts as a world leading company and present its fabulous charter destinations around the world.

Client: VT Group

Project: Employee newsletter

VT Group is a leading defence and support services company with a  turnover of £1.2 billion. I was commissioned by award-winning creative agency Glow to write a compelling 12-page newsletter for VT employees. The copy was completed one day ahead of schedule despite a very tight deadline. The newsletter was extremely well received, resulting in a significant increase in demand.

Marketscan is an award-winning data solutions business. The company appointed me to write a series of compelling online case studies to demonstrate the value of Marketscan’s data solutions from the client perspective. I have now worked for Marketscan for several years, writing regular case studies as well as the company’s award entries.

Client: Drum Housing

Project: Magazine for residents

Drum Housing is a charitable housing association and part of the award-winning Radian Group. I was approached by Drum’s design agency Red207 to write and edit a 32-page magazine for Drum’s residents. The brief was to encourage residents to get involved in Drum activities to help shape the future  of their communities. The copy was written in a lively, engaging way, with bite-size chunks of text and pull-out quotes. It was so well received, it led to a 3-year contract as well as additional writing projects.
